AJK president visit UAE embassy, offers condolence on death of Khalifa Bin Zayed

President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on Wednesday visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) embassy to offer his condolence on the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The president was received by the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Al Zabi.

AJK president paid tribute to the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and termed his demise as a great loss. He also recorded his impressions of the deceased president in the guest book on behalf of the Kashmiri people and praised his wise leadership.

Barrister Sultan in his remarks said, “In this hour of grief, we are with the government and people of the United Arab Emirates”. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant mercy to the deceased soul and raise his ranks.

AJK president also recalled the deceased UAE ruler’s deep connection with AJK and his role in its development. He said a modern hospital was built in Muzaffarabad with the generous support of the UAE.
