Court’s decision, the celebrations have been started at the residence of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) in Islamabad, Lahore and Gujrat on Tuesday night.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan also phoned Ch Parvez Elahi and congratulated him on his win in court. Parvez Elahi’s son Moonis Elahi along with some legislators of the PML-Q also called on Imran Khan and shared greetings at Bani Gala. Imran Khan heard the SC’s decision on television at his residence.
Sweets were distributed among the gathering at the Elahi’s residence while the allied party—the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including Mehmoodur Rasheed and Sadia Sohail Rana also shared their greetings with the winning candidate.
Workers of the PTI gathered outside the Supreme Court expressed their happiness by dancing on the drum beats and chanting slogans in favour of their party, Imran Khan and Ch Parvez Elahi.
