Nomination papers of Imran for by-election on nine seats prepared

The nomination papers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to contest by-elections from nine seats of the National Assembly have been prepared.

It will be a political test for the 13-party ruling coalition as former Prime Minister Imran has come to the fray from nine constituencies at a time.

The channel report said, for the first time in the country’s political history, a candidate in the form of Imran Khan will contest from 9 constituencies simultaneously.

He will contest by-elections from Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar, Karam, Faisalabad, Nankana, Malir, Korangi and Karachi South.

Imran Khan will be candidate of the PTI from NA-22, NA-24, NA-31, NA-45, NA-108, NA-118, NA-237, NA-239 and NA-246.

The National Assembly speaker has accepted the resignations of the PTI’s elected members from these nine general seats out of 131.

While the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) released the schedule for holding by-elections in these nine constituencies on September 25.
